His parents are split up so he has a car at his mother's house (where he would HAVE to be registered as primary driver) but he lives at his father's house so he only pays occasional driver's insurance even though the car is always with him. I got in an accident at and intersection the other day. i was heading north ready to turn west(my left) at the intersection. the other driver was heading south with her left blinker on ready to turn east (her left). so when i saw her blinker o n i figured it was safe to take my turn now. but in the middle of my turn she decides to keep going straight rather than turning left like her blinker had indicated. therefore she hit me in my rear passenger side with her front passenger side. she did not have much damage. however my car is fairly warped up in the rear end. it may even be totaled although it is drivable. i am just waiting for the appraisal right now. when we began speaking to the cop i mentioned that she had her blinker on, but she denied this. i alerted my insurance company and they filed a claim. i heard from her insurance company and they sent me to get and appraisal. i sent the accident report to the police station the rmv and my insurance yesterday. I do have insurance but i have no collision so i am real scared that it they put me at fault for some reason that i may be in some deep water. i am almost sure the damage to my car is at least a $5,000 fix. what are the odd of them ruling it her fault? and what are the odds of them ruling it my fault? also...how do you think think my damage will be fixed or covered? any help is much appreciated! thx!

I have a job where my health insurance premiums as well as my spouse's are covered without cost to me. However, my wife is insurured through her work as well because she is requiried to be insured under her employers plan even though she is already covered under mine. She chose an HMO because it was the least cost to us because we would want to use my insurance (PPO) as the main provider, that way she can choose her own doctors. She recently went to the doctor using my plan, but now they will not cover the visit because of duplicate coverage. Can someone give me advice as to how I can rectify this situation. I'm driving uninsured right now because for me to get car insurance is $900 every six months. That would crush me financially right now. So, it's utterly naive of the government to think of driving as a luxury , when in reality- when you have to travel 20 miles a day to get to work at Starbucks- walking is unrealistic. How the hell do they expect a 24-year old man to afford car insurance, when he has to work to earn the money to pay for it, and he has to drive to work, and in order to drive he has to drive illegally?! Hi i have just passed my test and obviously looking to get a car, i will be most probably having a friends car as he is getting a new one, its a 1.6 W reg Citroen saxo, if i have my own insurance (third party only) its around 3500.00 which is well out of my price range, if i did go on to my dads or moms policy, how much less would it be roughly, my dad lives in a nice area but did lose his licence for 3 months a few years back, my mom lives in a mediocre area but has no points and no history of any problems, i am 19 and i work as a clerical officer if that helps at all :S

I do not qualify for medicaid or family health plus. I have to pay for 2 root canals ($1400), 2 crowns($2000), 1 tooth extraction ($200) and cost of adult orthodontic treatment ($7000)!!! I am looking for private dental insurance but am having a very hard time finding... anyone can suggest any or other ieas to help me in this situation? I live in New York City... am 25 year old woman, single no kids, receive unemployment benefits after lay-off.

What insurance do you recommend for a part-time photographer?

I am a part-time photographer who mostly does family portraits and children. However, I've shot one wedding this past summer, and have another planned for June. I have a couple who recently contacted me for engagement photos and they want to do them at a nearby museum (outdoors) a week from today. The museum may want insurance info, and I don't have any to provide them with. My gear: I own a Canon 5D Mark II (primary) with an L lens, as well as two Nikon cameras (5100 and d60- backup cameras). What kind of insurance do you recommend that is affordable for my part-time photography business income? I realize I may not be able to get insurance in time for this engaged couple, but would like to have it for the upcoming wedding.
